In Brief...

On August 31, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Trial Procurement & Promotion Program selected Obun's Rewritable Paper and Rewritable Black Paper for inclusion in its FY2010 session.

The program is designed to promote excellent, highly innovative products introduced by small and mid-sized companies. The metropolitan government selects products, lists and promotes them, and in some cases purchases them for government use and evaluation.

The program considered 138 candidate products for FY2101, of which 25 were selected following review by a screening board composed of outside specialists.
