Environmental Policy in Compliance with ISO 14001

Obun Printing has established a strong environmental policy, as outlined below, based on the ISO 14001 standards for environmental management. We are committed to carrying out business in a way that promotes and contributes to environmental protection.

Our commitment is proactive and global. We are responsive to environment-related instructions and advice from our customers, and we voluntarily adhere to pertinent environmental ordinances enacted in other countries (including the European ELV, RoHA, and WEEE statutes).

Obun Printing Company Environmental Policy

Basic Principle
We shall do our very best to help prevent degradation of the global environment.

Basic Policy
Obun shall build, maintain, and promote an effective environmental management system, shall establish environmental goals and targets, shall periodically review and adjust our approach, and shall engage all employees in efforts toward continuous improvement. Specific actions shall include the following.

  1. Work to prevent wasteful use of energy and the depletion of natural resources.
  2. Work to reduce the amount of waste generated by business operations, and to promote recycling.
  3. Make maximum use of environmentally friendly materials.
  4. Observe all environmental laws and regulations, as well relevant non-binding standards and proposals.
  5. Ensure that all employees, and business associates and partners are aware of these policies, and announce these policies to the public.
